To help manage the standard, we installed an MRP system supplied by Prospec Systems Ltd called Datatrack; within the system, we produce quotations, works orders, purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and management reports, all at our fingertips; full traceability is standard, not a special event.

On the shop floor, we only use the best measuring equipment available, which is why we use Mitutoyo and Baty as our primary suppliers for all our Metrology equipment. All our instruments are digital, so there is no possibility of misreading, and they give us a very high degree of accuracy.

We perform a first article inspection report (F.A.I.R.) for every setup, which checks all the features on the drawing and confirms material specifications with the material certificate. During manufacture, the in-process checks monitor critical features periodically using a 2-tray system, which prevents contamination if an out-of-limit situation occurs. Once the components have been machined, they are then washed gently in our aqueous washing machine to remove swarf and oil; once this is complete, they are ready for a final inspection prior to dispatch to the customer. The whole process has been mapped out by our robust quality management. We have ISO 9001:2015 UKAS accredited certification.
